Funded by the European Union, the CALECHE project will boost the renovation of historic buildings to enhance vibrant, open, accessible, resilient and low-emission cities and cultural heritage, inclusive for everyone and sustainable for generations to come. CALECHE aims to develop a decision support system to unlock the full potential of the renovation of historic and heritage buildings. A set of tools will be delivered to help stakeholders reach a common understanding of what is appropriate for each building, taking into account their specific context. The scope of such system will cover onsite-initial evaluations, choice of solutions and material, carbon and financial savings, monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
