Centrum Analiz Legislacyjnych i Gospodarczych (CALG)

Centrum Analiz Legislacyjnych i Gospodarczych is a national centre, which acts for raising the level of legal awareness among Polish citizens. Enriching the public debate with expert voices in the field of law and economics, and so does, promoting the education of law students. We are guided by the belief that reliable debate is the basis. The basis for institutional order, which leads to the modern state's efficient activities and the legislative society's development. We monitor the national and EU legislative process. Also, follow and analyze the most crucial judgments of national, supranational and international courts and tribunals. By such actions, a comprehensive analysis of Poland's functioning and legal system shape is carried out. In order to achieve our goals, there is close cooperation with leading lawyers and economists. As part of Centrum Pomocy Prawnej (legal-aid centre), we provide access to free legal assistance provided by our volunteers. At the same time, conduct activities promote the idea of "pro publico bono". We try to raise the level of sensitivity to social issues among our recipients.
