Calibrate is a private, black female empowered equity investment business run by a team of investment professionals and entrepreneurs with diverse skill sets and backgrounds. Calibrate focuses on the financial services market and has a particular interest in insurance and wealth management-related opportunities. We are constantly on the lookout for merger and acquisition opportunities, as well as seeking out exceptional management teams and entrepreneurs willing to back themselves and their businesses. Our approach to investing and long term partnerships is centred around our structure as an on-balance sheet private equity company, using our own funds for investment rather than third party funds. As a result, we do not have any exit timing pressures and have significant skin in the game alongside the entrepreneurs with whom we invest alongside.
