At Call to Leap, Steve’s mission is to help encourage others to develop positive wealth habits, such as teaching how to be conscious about spending, live below your means, responsibly use credit cards, create side-hustles, and above all, invest in the markets to build wealth for the future. Being a former California public middle school math teacher, Steve reached financial freedom at the age of 33 years old. Seeing the widening of the wealth gap, statistics of how the majority of Americans struggle to pay for a $1000 emergency, or that the average student has around $30,000 of college debt, Steve made it his purpose to help bring awareness of these financial problems and to show people creative money solutions. Steve’s social media platforms have grown tremendously due to his viral and quirky money-tip videos and comedic illustrations and perspective of the financial markets. Many of his videos have reached millions of views in a short amount of time and have encouraged discourse among his followers. Steve and his team have gained positive recognition and have been featured on multiple news media sources, such as MarketWatch, Bloomberg, Benzinga, Yahoo! and Bankrate and more. Steve hopes to show others that by developing a wealth mindset, making small positive changes in their personal finances, self-education, and disciplined investing, they can also reach financial freedom and ultimately pursue their passions in life and spend more time with their friends and family.
