Callicore Production

Callicore is a French animation studio, which combines several activities concentrated the music’s field: the production of animated content music industry, but also music publish. The studio proposes concepts and original animation, as communication and production tool. The projects management is done entirely in-house of production to postproduction. The nomination for bluesman John Lee Hooker, Jr. at Grammy Awards in 2009 for album « All Odds Against Me », co-edited and illustrated by Callicore, John Lee Hooker, Jr.’s label « Steppin ‘Stone Records « and Callicore received new distinction at 13th Annual Webby Awards in category Special FX / Motion Graphics for music video « Blues ain’t nothin’ but a pimp. » Callicore has produced videos for bands as Iggy Pop, The Exploited, The Head Cat, Carbon Silicon, composed by Mick Jones (The Clash) and Tony James (Generation X – Sigue Sigue Sputnik), The Washington Dead Cats, The Buzzcocks, The Meteors, Pete & Charlie (new project of Pete Jones – Public Image Limited), Arrested Development, Fury, Marky Ramone, Cake, Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker, Clinic Rodéo, Eagle Eye Cherry, BPB, Dr Feelgood.
