CALLOS Project

*for English scroll down 👇 Το CALLOS (Ανοιχτό Εργαστήριο Συντήρησης των Μνημείων της Αθήνας με τεχνολογίες Λέιζερ και LIDAR) είναι ένα νέο ερευνητικό έργο διεπιστημονικής συνεργασίας για την προστασία των εμβληματικών αρχαίων μνημείων της Αθήνας. Βασικός του στόχος είναι η δημιουργία ενός Ανοικτού Εργαστηρίου Συντήρησης της Εφορείας Αρχαιοτήτων Πόλης Αθηνών για την ανάπτυξη και την εφαρμογή καινοτόμων μεθόδων διάγνωσης και συντήρησης που βασίζονται σε προηγμένες τεχνολογίες οπτικής και λέιζερ. Το έργο CALLOS (MIS: 5056208) εντάχθηκε στο ΕΠΑΝΕΚ 2014-2020 το 2020, έχει διάρκεια 36 μηνών και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το ΕΤΠΑ και εθνικούς πόρους. Εταίροι του CALLOS είναι η Εφορεία Αρχαιοτήτων Πόλης Αθηνών (ΕΦΑΠΑ) (Συντονιστής), το Ινστιτούτο Ηλεκτρονικής Δομής και Λέιζερ του ΙΤΕ (ΙΗΔΛ-ΙΤΕ) (Επιστημονική εποπτεία), η εταιρεία Raymetrics A.E. και το Ινστιτούτο Πληροφορικής του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας (ΙΠ-ΙΤΕ). CALLOS (Conservation of Athens antiquities with Laser and Lidar technologies Open to Science and public) is a new interdisciplinary research project for the protection of the emblematic ancient monuments of Athens. Its main goal is the creation of an Open Conservation Laboratory of the Ephorate of Antiquities of the city of Athens for the development and implementation of innovative diagnostic and conservation methods based on advanced optical and laser technologies. CALLOS (MIS: 5056208) became part of the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation” (EPAnEK) in 2020, it has a 36-month duration and is co-financed by the ERDF and national contribution. Partners of CALLOS are the Ephorate of Antiquities of Athens (EACA) (Coordinator), the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of FORTH (IESL-FORTH) (Scientific supervision), the company Raymetrics S.A. and the Institute of Computer Science of FORTH (ICS-FORTH).
