Cambridge Brain

The need for computing power is growing exponentially! Billions of dollars are invested in advanced technologies like quantum computing to address the need for more computational power to process larger datasets. Strikingly, trillions of dollars are expected to be spent on increasing the computational resources such as GPUs and data centers in the coming decade. Cambridge Brain is a deep tech company which has taken on the same challenge from the opposite approach: to design efficient foundational software systems that exponentially reduce the need for computational resources inside the backbone of the computing infrastructure. Our conviction comes from the study of human brain, which comprehends the world with an energy consumption that is comparable to a light bulb, and despite significant data limitations. We have also created prototypes and proofs of concepts illustrating the feasibility of this approach for specific, but widely applicable, scenarios. See our website for more information.
