Cambridge Rapid was established in 1987 and provides a complete manufacturing service for all metalwork requirements. Our modern workshop in Suffolk has the most up to date technology for laser cutting and laser etching, punching and folding with full offline programming. Our welding department provides both MIG/TIG welding as well as spotwelding and studwelding. We also offer a full assembly service as well as agreed stockholding. With our own in-house finishing centre, we can supply metalwork in a variety of finishes such as polished, grained, bead blasted, painted or plated. We work in the full range of materials as well as standard stainless steels (304,316,321,430) but also specialise in high temperature stainless steel fabrications (310, 330, MA253, Inconel alloys). We supply the furnace, medical, laboratory, security industries high precision metalwork and we are committed to our customers and the quality of their products. We work with companies from design, prototype, pre-production and volume supply and no job is too small.
