The Cambridge Certification Authority is an independent body providing specialised professional certification to students and providers of online learning. Established to meet the global demand for certification in online learning, the CCA fulfils an urgent and fundamental requirement for harmonised standards and quality assurance in e-learning, while advancing the careers of students through recognised qualifications. Originally set up to certify students of Codestars courses, the CCA provides the highest level competency framework for students seeking to validate their skills in web development and coding—and a template for global standards. Gaining CCA status is evaluated by taking an online exam to determine if applicable standards are met. If standards are met, accredited status is granted.
