Camcomp and MUARC

Camcomp Partners Pty. Ltd. is a Melbourne-based consultancy founded by its Director, Dr Max Cameron, in July 1996. Dr Cameron is an experienced social researcher, with B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in statistics and he is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. He also holds a Ph.D. degree for his thesis on the statistical evaluation of road trauma countermeasures. Dr Cameron is supported by a fellow Director and associates of Camcomp with advanced skills and qualifications in information retrieval and computer science. Camcomp specialises in consultancy services in research, computing and information analysis. The services provided build on Dr Cameron’s extensive experience in road safety research and its management, and in road safety policy formulation and strategic planning. Camcomp’s capability includes: • advice on road safety research strategy, management and organisation • design of complex social research projects to reach valid conclusions • computer and internet-based literature searches and preparation of summary reviews • advice on statistical analysis of road safety data sets • preparation of reports summarising statistical analysis in easily understood terms • development of policy and strategic advice based on research results
