Conceived as a community-driven project, Camerise aims to be a user-centered digital platform designed to bring together students, educators, administrators, parents, and FSL organizations in order to support intersectoral collaboration. The goal is to address systemic challenges together and find solutions that will facilitate access to FSL programs across the country in order to sustain Canadian bilingualism. Camerise is piloted by York University’s Glendon College and supported by a grant from Canadian Heritage and the Ontario Ministry of Education.
CAMERISE est une initiative originellement propulsée par une équipe du Collège universitaire Glendon de l’université de York. C'est le fruit de notre vision, celle d’offrir aux étudiants, éducateurs, chercheurs et administrateurs un espace pour collaborer (un hub pour le français langue seconde au Canada) pour la pérennité des programmes d’enseignement du FLS au Canada. Notre objectif est d’assurer que tous les acteurs du FLS au Canada aient accès à des ressources inclusives et engageantes, à des outils pour collaborer, ainsi qu’au soutien dont ils ont besoin pour réaliser leur plein potentiel en tant que Canadiennes et Canadiens bilingues ou plurilingues.
