V is a freelance illustrator from London. She enjoys creating hand-drawn illustrations in a decorative, conceptual style mixing abstract architectural landscapes and more organic, floral patterns. Her personal work often intervenes architectural detail, textiles and an element of the surreal resulting in a imagery with a dreamlike quality while her love for bold black and white lines with an occasional splash of gold add a sense of ambiguity and the mysterious. She is inspired by oriental patterns and textures, organic landscapes and fairy tale stories from places she has visited. She brings these inspirations into her illustrations to create whimsical, vibrant, fantastical worlds.
