Camfin S.p.A.

Founded in 1915 under the name “Consorzio Approvvigionamenti Metallurgici e Meccanici”, Camfin S.p.A. is a historic Italian holding company, controlled by Marco Tronchetti Provera, which over the years has made investments in the energy, real estate and automotive sectors. Today, the main investment is the shareholding in Pirelli & C. S.p.A. (“Pirelli”), in which it acts as a stable shareholder also through a partnership with China National Chemical Corporation. Camfin holds 15.86% of Pirelli directly and 7.88% indirectly - through its subsidiary Camfin Alternative Assets - for a total share of 23.73% of Pirelli's capital. In 2020, Camfin entered into a partnership with Longmarch Holding s.r.l., a vehicle owned by the Chinese Niu family, through the establishment of Camfin Alternative Assets, a subsidiary of Camfin, the main investment of which to date is the equity in Pirelli & C., in addition to several alternative investments. Overall, the CF group’s stake in Pirelli is 23.73%.
