History: Formerly CAM International. Founded in 1890 as The Central American Mission. About our name: The word Camino is translated from Spanish as “journey”, “path” or “way.” The inclusion of the word Global provides a clear scope for the journey, and reflects the Latin American diaspora, the migration of Spanish speakers across the globe.
