Established in 2001, Camp Acorn serves the special needs community of Bergen County and Northern New Jersey with therapeutic and instructional programs designed for individuals with special needs. The program is operated by certified special educators with 60 years of combined experience in working with individuals with disabilities. We are passionate about what we do and strive to provide high quality services at low cost to our families.
Our mission is to empower children and adults with special needs through programs that address their physical, emotional, and social well-being. In our supportive environment campers can learn and grow at their own pace, building self-esteem, confidence, and life skills that branch out into every aspect of their lives.
