Camp Akeela

Camp Akeela is a three-and-a-half week sleep-away camp in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. Through our core beliefs in community, friendship, growth, pride and fun, summers at Akeela are life-changing experiences for campers. Akeela campers are looking for a typical New England camp with a little extra support in the social arena. They are excited to live in a community with other young people who share their interests and their neurodivergent profiles. Many of our campers have been diagnosed with ASD 1 / Asperger's, NLD or have a similar profile. Campers live in cabins with up to 8 peers and 4 counselors. Our traditional camp program includes arts, outdoor adventure & ropes course, athletics, pool & lakefront aquatics, and much more!
