Camp Ekon

Since 1971, Camp Ekon has been operating as a world-class summer camp in the Muskoka region, but our history spans nearly 130 years. We offer a variety of camps for boys and girls ages 8-16, both gender exclusive and co-ed. We also offer leadership camps designed to create leaders of the future. Campers participate in various activities to build essential teamwork and leadership skills, both within everyday camp life and in their communities. Camp Ekon is Jesuit in philosophy, Roman Catholic in tradition, and public in Service. Campers and staff from all faith traditions are welcome at Ekon. Religious programming includes the fostering of a constructive environment of belonging, sharing, and respect; a simple sung grace at meals; and an optional daily Catholic liturgy. Leadership camps incorporate reflective, spiritual, and service components that are age-appropriate and respectful of differences in faith traditions.
