CAMP THURMAN has been providing the best day camp in the Arlington/Pantego area since 1969 and the most effective teambuilding adventures for almost 10 years! We also have an exciting outreach to our community and select groups through Special Days.
Our mission is to provide for all ages safe, fun, wholesome outdoor programs, which demonstrate God's love, while helping individuals discover who they are in Christ.
Right in the heart of the city, we have 14 acres of trees, creeks, gullys and more! Our "fun in the woods" Day Camp is for children ages 4 through those finishing fifth grade. In Day Camp, as well as in most of our other programs, the campers are placed in small groups of 10 to 12 children (all boys or all girls), with a Christian counselor and an assistant. They participate as a group in all the various activities throughout the day.
