Coming to Prince Edward County, Virginia - Summer 2025! Kevin and Laura Wilson founded Camp Yellow Cardinal out of their shared passion for the great outdoors and a desire to create a unique, luxurious camping experience that everyone could enjoy. Kevin’s extensive background in community engagement and hospitality, combined with Laura’s creativity and love for hands-on projects, inspired them to craft a retreat that seamlessly blends comfort with nature. They envisioned a place where guests could escape the hustle of daily life and immerse themselves in the beauty of Central Virginia. Driven by a commitment to excellence and a love for their local community, Kevin and Laura set out to design a glamping destination that caters to both seasoned adventurers and first-time campers. They carefully planned every aspect of Camp Yellow Cardinal, from the beautifully designed geodesic domes to the thoughtful amenities and activities that highlight the natural beauty of the area. Their goal was to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where guests could relax, explore, and make lasting memories, all while feeling at home in the great outdoors.
