Camp Breakaway

Camp Breakaway established in 1982 is a registered non-profit charitable organisation, a registered service provider for the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and a member of NDS (National Disability Services) that specialises in providing respite care for people with disabilities and their carers. We also provide emergency respite care and hire our site and facilities to other respite care providers to raise additional funds for our camps. Camp Breakaway is purpose built from the ground up for people with disabilities and set on 11.55 fenced and gated peaceful hectares (28.540672 acres) with a backdrop of natural bushland - it also has a large carpark which offers secure on-site parking. Camp Breakaway is located in San Remo on the Central Coast of NSW - just 57 minutes from Hornsby, 53 minutes from Newcastle and 35 minutes from Gosford. In addition to hiring our site and facilities to other respite care providers to raise additional funds for our camps, we also hire our site and facilities to the general public to raise additional funds for our camps and are well suited for all manner of indoor and outdoor events - including; weddings, parties, conferences, meetings and much, much more. A couple of major features are: We have 3 great function rooms to choose from, each with their own kitchen, the choice of in-house catering or self-catering and respective table seating for up to 50, 90, 200 guests.
