Founded in 2006 in Ähtäri, Campnou Oy is a leading contract manufacturer of aluminum boats and hulls. With a strong foundation in aluminum processing, we deliver high-quality products and services, from innovative design to comprehensive after-sales support, catering to many large, internationally recognized clients. Our Journey: 2006: Campnou Oy was established to manage an industrial property, initially renovated for a company owned by Paavo’s father. Paavo envisioned a direct billing model for their subcontractor, Silver Veneet Oy, leading to the inception of Campnou Oy's business operations. 2010: As aluminium boats gained market traction, Campnou began manufacturing hulls for Xo Boats Oy, attracting KoneKesko's attention. This partnership led to the successful production of aluminum hulls for Yamarin Cross boats, resulting in a tenfold increase in turnover within 18 months. 2015: Production peaked at 1,150 aluminum hulls annually for Yamarin Cross boats, and the workforce expanded to 10 employees. 2017: Campnou continued producing Yamarin Cross hulls despite ownership changes and welcomed Bella Veneet Oy as a new client for Falcon Boats. 2018: Partnering with Nimbus Group, Campnou began manufacturing hulls for Alukin, designing cost-effective solutions and growing the team to 13 employees. 2019: Campnou rekindled its partnership with Xo Boats Oy and expanded offerings with Nimbus Group to include other boat equipment and assembly planning. 2021: With over half of our turnover from exports, Campnou evolved into a comprehensive contract manufacturer of complete boats, also producing windshields for Buster boats. 2024: We launched a collaboration with Pascal System, introducing the first prototype of Alukin equipped with the Pascal anti-friction gliding system, aiming to deliver the first fully electric vessel to Moen Marin in Norway by 2025.
