Camp PolyHacks

Camp PolyHacks is a non-profit, student-run association that empowers designers, developers, and entrepreneurs to solve civic-based issues alongside community members. Camp PolyHacks (formerly the Design & Dev Hackathon) hosts talented participants from the College of Business, Engineering, and Liberal Arts. We’ve seen projects that have explored everything from a mental health mobile app to a rental home rating social app. We've held 4 hackathons total: • 70-150 students collaborate at each interdisciplinary event • Participants directly solve problems facing our community and campus • Engaged faculty, students, and mentors for 24+ hours • Helped students understand their strengths and encouraged them to continue working on their Camp Polyhacks projects • Fostered entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary work, and more. • Attracted an audience of over 100 students, community members and local media for the final pitch presentations.
