Campwell Farm Overview

Campwell Farm is an off-grid and eco-friendly village of bell tents and hand built shelters in the heart of our 5th generation working farm in Wiltshire, near Bath. We are just 5 miles away from the beautiful city of Bath and with a superb farm shop, cafe and the village pub a short walk away, you’ll feel secluded yet within easy reach of civilisation. At Campwell Farm you can enjoy the simple life, reconnecting with nature and each other, welcome to go on an adventure through the woods or take refuge from the hustle around our campfire. With our superb location and endless things to do in the area, we can guarantee an experience to remember. Open from late March until late October, we welcome groups looking to enjoy a bucolic break in the West Country.. We provide group accommodation in self catered bell tents, sleeping up to 4 people in each. The comfy beds are made, wood burning stoves set up, extra blankets and soft bath towels provided. Those of you who want to really switch off can use our tech lockers to prevent the outside world from intruding on your experience. Facilities include a well-equipped camp kitchen and the Flock & Feed dining shelter for up to 20 people, 2 hot showers, private and smart compost loos, a grass clearing for games and The Gather Round, an area to congregate and share with other guests. Half a mile down the lane you are welcome to use the indoor heated pool, games room and laundry room should you need some modernity (power, wifi, flushing loos), but we encourage you to enjoy the pleasures of powering down and going off-grid. We can help you re engage with the natural world. On the farm, you can try your hand at the ancient art of sheep herding, get arty with our creative woodland experiences or get stuck in to a bush-craft session. The more active amongst you can join in with some archery, yoga or outdoor boot camps but we can also organise tours of the local organic vineyard for those who prefer a more leisurel
