Can Fin Homes Limited, a Housing Finance Company promoted by Canara Bank, in 1987, the International Year of Shelter for the Homeless. The Company is incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956. o The first HFC floated by any Nationalised Bank in the country o Founder Chairman Shri B Ratnakar. o Main objective of setting up the Company was promoting home ownership & increasing the housing stock in the country. o The initial shareholders of the company were, Canara Bank, Can Bank Financial Services, HDFC and UTI. o One of the very few HFCs permitted by NHB for taking deposits from public. o Listed in 1991 o History of uninterrupted profits & dividend payment since inception with 100% dividend declared since FY16.
