CANY's goal is to build networks and connections between Canadians and those interested in Canada, through a wide variety of engaging social, cultural and business events held each year. CANY is also very committed to helping the New York community. Through its Foundation, CANY has donated to deserving organizations in the Tri-State area, including Ice Hockey in Harlem, an inspiring program that combines ice hockey and education for the benefit of the economically challenged community of East Harlem, the New York City summer exchange program at Canada’s National Ballet School and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from funds raised through the annual Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research in New York.
