-Process all financial transactions in a timely and accurate matter
-Ensure that accounts receivable (invoices) are entered accurately and then collected promptly
-Accounts Payable (bills from vendors and company expenses) are entered accurately and paid in a timely manner
-Monthly bank reconciliations are completed for all company bank accounts
-Credit card reconciliations are completed for all company credit cards
-Maintain the chart of accounts
-Keep an orderly electronic accounting filing system
-Support a system of controls over accounting transactions
-Post journal entries
-Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet and P&L
-Issue timely and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
-Work closely with company’s CPA firm
Compliance:
-Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting (ex. sales/use tax filing)
-Represent the company with customers, vendors, suppliers, business partners
Additional Responsibilities if requested:
-Process Payroll with a third party and then enter the payroll transactions
