CANDU Studio is a full-service design studio, consisting of the duo Challenor and Unterlauf. With different skill sets and a joined passion for great spaces, interesting materials and sustainability, Betti and Matt complement each other's workflow.
For brands - retail, workspace and hospitality alike- it is important to define their specific market territory with a clear signature. CANDU helps to reinvent and redefine these brand values, creating unique environments for the customer to explore. For residential projects we establish a base of understanding the client's needs and habits to then collaboratively create the home perfect for them.
We worked at globally renowned design agencies in London, Amsterdam and Berlin - and are currently based in Berlin. We are working in interior architecture, developing brand identity and creative strategy. CANDU was established in 2016.
