How it works
The awards and gala are split into Public and Business halves. Recognising the contribution made by both companies and activists in pushing our industry forward, winners are selected by a diverse panel of judges, and some by popular vote. Until the law changes, we cannot include products made from cannabis, but the awards recognise both medical and recreational sectors.
The Oscars of the Cannabis Industry
For the first time in Australia, we will be hosting the inaugural Cannabis Industry Awards gala dinner and awards ceremony - Australia’s official cannabusiness awards. We invite you to join us for what will surely be Australia’s most triumphant and elegant celebration of cannabis - uniting the industry, redefining the plant, and legitimising our new cannabis culture. All around the world the cannabis industry is predominantly made up of activists, patients, environmentalists, carers, and others who put social justice first. And not many other sectors began as criminally oppressed minorities. The industry with history and heart - we are liberals and conservatives, politicians and plumbers, rich and poor, indigenous and immigrants. We are a very diverse group and may disagree on certain things, but we all come together as one to support this amazing plant.
