The charming aromas that invigorate the flavour of wine, stir the heart and awaken emotions - this is the essence of Cantina Tramin. Founded in 1898, nowadays Cantina Tramin is one of Italy’s leading white wine producers, particularly renowned for its impressive floral, spicy and elegant wines.
In Tramin, special soil conditions and great diurnal temperature variation help developing floral, exotic and spicy aromas, along with body and structure, without compromising the backbone of acidity which makes them extremely elegant.
Cantina Tramin's vineyards are nestled on the hills at an altitude between 250 and 850 metres asl. The owners of the winery are 300 small growers who take care of the vineyards located around the village of Tramin, with each of them overseeing less than one hectare of vineyard. Consequently, the relationship between grower and land is very intimate. We work grapes coming from 260 hectares of vineyards in total. The small-scale structure of farms enables us to operate on each single row of vines.
Working together to create wines which are a superb harmonious expression of our environment is the guiding principle of Cantina Tramin.
