Cantus Group

Cantus Group is the aggregate body of four restaurant elements, each one distinguished for their character and set of properties, but united in terms of their teamwork, constant quality, and creative growth that has been developing since 1992. The first successful project of the company is the Steiku Haoss restaurant in the heart of Old Riga at Meistaru iela 25 (25 Meistaru Street), which was first opened to visitors in 2003. Soon afterwards its operations were expanded by two Steiku Haoss restaurants in Riga, in order to satisfy even more steak admirers and create a wider perspective in this area of culinary art. Cantus Group is always open to new challenges and achievements; therefore, guests of the city were introduced to the new KID* restaurant in 2008, which is still distinguished by its freshness and lightness in terms of everything – the menu, the atmosphere and the interior. This restaurant has since become a favourite place for breakfast, business lunch or dinner, as well as celebrations for many visitors. The new restaurant concept, Ribs&Rock, augmented the tradition of consistent high-quality restaurants in 2012. This is the place where the widest range of ribs in the entire city of Riga is served in a rock-like atmosphere, turning the place into a favourite destination for taste-bud adventures among many admirers of the BBQ art and explorers of new taste experiences. Currently, the latest but no less successful project of the company is Muusu restaurant, which unites the lasting experience and high professional level of all restaurants that can be appreciated at already two of our restaurants. From March 2014 the first home of Muusu has been at Antonijas iela 13 (13 Antonijas Street), while the second Muusu restaurant opened as early as in October of the same year, finding a home in the walls of a 275-year-old building at Skārņu iela 6 (6 Skārņu Street), and thus each meal here has an added value provided by the admirable atmosphere.
