CAP STRAT is an employee-owned, SEC Registered Investment Advisor specializing in independent institutional investment and retirement advisory services, private wealth and asset management solutions. We are a fully independent firm. Neither our firm nor any of our associates have any affiliation to any broker/dealer, investment manager, bank, recordkeeper, insurance company etc. The value of absolute independence is evident in the conflict free research, advice and investment recommendations that we provide our clients. In addition, as a Registered Investment Advisor only, we are prohibited from receiving any compensation from investment managers. All of our revenue is generated from the flat, annual retainers we charge and that are paid to us by our clients. Our institutional pools of assets include defined benefit plans, defined contribution (401(k), 403(b)), 457 and non-qualified plans) operating accounts, endowments and foundations. A highly specialized and growing firm, we have built a powerful, independent research team so clients can rely on our independent perspective and assurance that recommendations are made solely in their best interest. Capital Strategies serves as a 3(21) or 3(38) fiduciary advisor for all the clients we serve. Our mission is to help our clients fulfill their fiduciary duties and successfully manage their investment programs. Our firm is comprised of highly skilled, multi-disciplinary professionals with significant experience in investment strategy, research, retirement strategy, plan design, compliance, employee engagement, communication and education and provider management. Capital Strategies was founded in 2003 by Will Woodall, Nancy Rizzuto, and Barbara Best.
