Capacity

We support people with a refugee or migrant background in their professional integration in Switzerland. Capacity is a non-profit, tax-exempt organisation that was founded in 2015. In our bilingual programmes (English / German) our commitment is aimed at strengthening programme participants and unlocking their individual potential on their entry into the Swiss labour market or on their path to self-employment. We create spaces of belonging and learning by involving partner companies whose employees support the programme participants as coaches. Access Fast Track was successfully launched in 2022 and serves highly qualified, professionally experienced refugees and migrants with a compact programme for their professional integration into the Swiss labour market. In parallel, we continue to explore and refine learning formats tailored for refugees and migrants aspiring to become self-employed. In 2024, we launched the pilot phase of the LEAP programme and are currently evaluating its results. Capacity stands for collaboration and sees itself as an organisation that wants to learn and seeks dialogue with other social actors. Only together can we work towards a social future that sees diversity as a strength and enables people to contribute their potential—regardless e.g. of gender and origin. We rely on partnerships and financial support to ensure that our programmes are accessible to as many participants as possible.
