Center for Astroparticles and High Energy Physics (CAPA)

The primary objective of the Center for Astroparticles and High Energy Physics (CAPA) is to promote research in the fields of high-energy physics, nuclear and particle physics, astrophysics, cosmology, astroparticles, and theoretical physics, as well as the technological developments associated with these areas. The University of Zaragoza has several research groups with a strong tradition and expertise in these fields, both in theoretical and experimental aspects, and CAPA was established to better leverage this scientific potential by creating a common framework for this type of research and specialized training. To this end, the Center will foster collaboration with other research centers and institutes, both nationally and internationally.
