At Capilli, we turn something ordinary into something extraordinary. Founded in 2021 in Northern Mindanao, Philippines, Capilli is a pioneering social enterprise and impact company that upcycles human hair waste into eco-friendly, high-impact products for industries such as oil spill response, agriculture, and environmental protection. We collect waste human hair from salons and barbershops, process them using hair felting technology in partnership with local women's cooperatives, and convert them into sustainable solutions like oil adsorbent mats and plant grow mats. These products are biodegradable, cost-effective, and outperform synthetic alternatives. In 2022, we proudly became the Philippine partner of Matter of Trust, a global nonprofit advancing planet-friendly programs in over 30 countries. We're more than just a company — we are a movement for circular economy, environmental innovation, and community-driven impact. From salons to coastlines, we are redefining what “waste” can do.
