Founded in 2021 in Northern Mindanao, Philippines, Capilli is a pioneering social enterprise and impact company that upcycles human hair waste into eco-friendly, high-impact products for industries such as oil spill response, agriculture, and environmental protection.
We collect waste human hair from salons and barbershops, process them using hair felting technology in partnership with local women's cooperatives, and convert them into sustainable solutions like oil adsorbent mats and plant grow mats. These products are biodegradable, cost-effective, and outperform synthetic alternatives.
In 2022, we proudly became the Philippine partner of Matter of Trust, a global nonprofit advancing planet-friendly programs in over 30 countries.
