Capital Engine helps UK small business secure multi-year loans (up to 5-years) for acquisitions, growth and other strategic activities, amounts between £0.25m-£5m. As of March 2017, we have originated £15m of loan finance in 33 separate loans. While we participate in every loan we arrange, most of the loan is funded by a syndicate of lenders, typically those associated with the ThinCats peer-to-peer platform. Capital Engine is an accredited Loan Sponsor to ThinCats, who require Borrowers to work with Sponsors in order to access their extensive investor community. Capital Engine can also arrange underwriting commitments, when needed. While cost of funds are more than what is typically charged by banks, we can apply ourselves to more complex situations and our lenders can potentially write larger checks. We can also help with short term finance to help companies in the fulfillment of contracts.
