Capitano Hotel Collection

The Capitano Hotel Collection is the Genoese family. The project began in 1995 when Roberto and Cosetta Genovese decided to invest in the small medieval village of San Quirico d’Orcia, in Val d’Orcia (Tuscany). The Trattoria Toscana “Al Vecchio Forno”, an embassy of the typical Tuscan restaurant set up in a suggestive environment with internal rooms heated by an ancient fireplace and the external garden, an ancient medieval vegetable garden, were restored first; the Palazzo del Capitano, a period residence from the 1400s, completely restored enhancing every detail, overlooking a real garden of Eden of the same property ... and then the Villa, just outside the walls overlooking the Val d'Orcia and excellent point to visit the area; the Taste and Perfume Boutiques that represent a selection of the best local artisans and producers; and the exclusive SPA for the guest's moments of relaxation. The Genoese family has expanded over time and you will also get to know their sons Lorenzo, Matteo and Marco, an integral part of the Capitano Hotel Collection Team.
