Started in early 2017, Capitol Crypto was the dream of two Washington, DC, area millennials that needed a side hustle -- DC ain't cheap. As two professionals with day jobs, we needed a small business that could reliably bring in additional income, but not require a considerable amount of work. With the idea that we could be paid for providing compute power, Capitol Crypto was born to legitimize our own mining operations. Through our personal success, we've garnered interest from friends, colleagues and the intellectually curious, which expanded Capitol Crypto's areas of service. -We actively mine for SHA256 currencies (i.e. Bitcoin) in our own mining operations -We help others to set-up and operate their own mining rigs -We provide consulting services to business owners to help them understand and exploit blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
