Cincinnati Academy of Professional Psychology (CAPP)

The Cincinnati Academy of Professional Psychology was created in 1981 to advance the science and profession of psychology in the Greater Cincinnati area. Our goals are to promote human welfare through the application of psychological science, to increase public awareness of psychology, to encourage the highest levels of ethical standards in the practice of psychology, and to promote the exchange of information and ideas among members. At CAPP, we consider it critical to promote and integrate cultural sensitivity and and a commitment to racial and ethnic diversity throughout the organizational structure of CAPP and the broader community of psychology in Cincinnati. We welcome all members, and support the inclusion of all forms of diversity, including but not limited to race, sexual orientation, spirituality, disabilities, age, size, and/or gender.
