Capton Energy was established in 2021 as a joint venture between Siemens Financial Services and Desert Technologies. Capton Energy is an investment and project development platform dedicated to delivering solar-themed infrastructure and other energy transition assets to advance society towards a sustainable future powered by clean energy. We work in developing nations providing access to energy and clean water, as well as providing job opportunities and vocational training. Our belief in sustainability applies to all our stakeholders. Our projects must be sustainable for our clients, sustainable for the environment and communities in which the projects are located, sustainable for our employees and sustainable for our shareholders. We act as a lead developer or active co-developer in all of our greenfield projects. We develop our projects using commercially-proven technology and design, as well as bankable structures. Through each project phase, our in-house team of experts strives to optimize project value by maximizing productivity and energy yield while mitigating risk and minimizing cost.
