Falls are a major cause of mortality in the elderly. 42% of people aged 70+ fall each year. By preventing falls, the risk of death can be reduced and 600 million can be saved. During COVID-19, there has been an increased risk of falls due to the depletion of staff. We invented CaptureLive, a smart home solution for the elderly with an innovative patented fall prevention and detection system driven by Machine Learning and AI, for families of elderly people who can monitor seniors' status and send alerts to carers when a fall is predicted to occur.
