Carambola was chosen by Government to conduct a 'Proof of Concept' exercise to demonstrate how to serve children a hot meal in the middle of the day in a school environment where there were no catering facilities. Of course Carambola succeeded.
As a result, Government has committed to feeding every child in the State a hot meal in the middle of the day by 2025.
