Carbon.Equity Solutions Inc. aims to stimulate climate change mitigation by addressing the fundamental market failures at the heart of the issue. By using a scientifically unparalleled, continuously adaptive model, units of carbon can be properly priced in a manner that has never been done before.
As there are many different carbon "standards" that are used to varying degrees of scientific validity (often amounting to little more than fraud), it is difficult for prospective offsetters to discern what actually constitutes a “carbon offset”. We believe that to truly offset carbon the damage from an emission must be fully undone, and intend to provide a standardized measure that encapsulates this concept.
Using our model, we are creating a new carbon standard, the Indexed Carbon Credit Standard (ICCS)-TM, that allows for the standardization and comparison of different types of carbon credits, thus bringing a transparency and understanding to global carbon markets that has thus far been lacking.
Soon, we will be launching the Verified Indexed Carbon Credit Exchange (VICCE)-TM. VICCE(TM) is a marketplace and trading platform that allows for entities to consolidate and manage their carbon portfolios using Verified Indexed Carbon Credits (VICCs)-TM.
