Carbon 3 IT provides data centre support services principally in the fields of energy efficiency and sustainability including asssessments and training We can develop data centre specific ISO management standards for Quality (9001), Environment (14001), Business Continuity, (22301) Information Security (27001) and Energy (50001). We assist in the development of data centres with regard to the EN50600 series Our MD chairs and represents the BCS and the Data Centre Alliance on BSI TCT 7/3 (ISO30134 series) & (EN50600) committees We prepare applications and consult on the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres (Energy Efficiency) Carbon3IT Ltd have been granted "endorser" status to the EU Code of Conduct on Data Centres Carbon3IT Ltd has been retained by the EU JRC to perform application reviews for participants to the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres. Carbon3IT Ltd provides Data Centre assessments services for the CEEDA programme. Our MD is the Vice Chair of the BCS Green IT specialist groups, he is the chair of the Data Centre Alliance's Energy Efficiency & Standards steering group. Carbon3IT Ltd provides input to many UK/EU green initiatives, and includes all ICT activities, from Data Centre to Desktop. Our MD was invited to participate in the development of the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) for ICT We won the Data Centre Solutions Magazine "Outstanding contribution to efficiency and sustainability" Award in 2023 and were nominated in 2021, 2022 and 2024
