Carbonamine is a terpolymer coating consisting of a sterically hindered amine, an isocyanate and an alkylene carbonate. It has similar properties to polyurethane and polyaspartic coatings but the presence of alkylene carbonates introduce significant advantages including:-
Environmentally friendly, contains up to 18% CO2
Cures perfectly in damp conditions, does not water spot as do epoxy coatings
Reduced cost, up to 20% less costly to manufacture than standard polyaspartic coatings
Solvent free, low viscosity eliminates the need to include solvent in most formulations
Excellent adhesion to most substrates including concrete, steel, aluminium, timber etc…
Rapid cure, even at temperatures below freezing
Can be formulated to produce a wide variety of coating types.
