Cardoon

Cardoon is a cafe bar serving house-made Chinese and German-influenced bites, and low and zero-proof drinks. Our passion is the shared experience and exchange around where we come from and where we are. We are opening a physical location in Ballard, Spring 2023. In the meantime, we are excited to draw inspiration from Ballard's Scandinavian roots and community while we operate the Freya cafe space at the National Nordic Museum. Featuring: - Coffee! Espresso and filter coffee from a local roaster and rotating Scandinavian roasters - Light bites drawing from Chinese, German, and Scandinavian influences - Specialty drinks - traditional Chinese tea, hot chocolate, zero proof cocktails - A comfy and stylish counter-serve space
