CARE (Center for Africa's Resilience to Epidemics) is an instrument of the Institut Pasteur de Dakar, dedicated to promoting capacity development and innovations for epidemic preparedness and efficient response across Africa.
Our mission is three fold:
❖ To Train Future Leaders, by developing the expertise of the next generation of decision-makers, frontline responders, and leaders in epidemic management through world-class professional development programs.
❖ To Promote Disease and Climate Intelligence, focusing on gathering, analyzing, and utilizing epidemiological and climate data to predict and model future health threats using cutting-edge technology.
❖ To Translate Research into Innovation, by fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship to transform research findings into real-world solutions that benefit both society and businesses.
