CARE - Centre for Advanced Research in Environment

Centre for Advanced Research in Environment (CARE) is a non-profit organization established in 2012 endeavors independent research and analysis aimed at developing sound strategies to address both cause and consequences of global environmental issues. Recognizing that the future of mankind is entirely dependent on the quality of environment and the stock and flow of ecological resources, that the socio-cultural roots of our current environmental crisis lie in the paradigms of scientific materialism that fail to recognize the physical limits imposed by ecosystems on economic activity; and that the emergence and acceptance of the concept of sustainable development as a societal policy paradigm demand a major shift in our approach on education, training and R&D on environmental subjects.
