CareerAid is a Pan African NGO operating in Zimbabwe and South Africa which empowers young people through skills development for them to fulfil their potential. Life Skills Training, Career Development and Mentorship as our core pillars helps to nurture and develop young people who are able to make an impact in their communities and the world at large. How We Work: Life Skills Empowerment- CareerAid Life Sills program seeks to build capacity of young people to make decisions and take actions that positively impact their lives and the communities around them. We aim to promote young people’s psychologically as well as their physical well-being. Career Development - Through our Career Development Programme, we provide a platform that empowers young people on how to manage learning, work, leisure, and transitions in order to move toward a personally determined and evolving preferred future. Our programme includes work readiness training, student transitional sessions and on the job training. Mentorship - Through our mentorship programme, we ensure that young people (mentees) are matched with the best possible partners (mentors) for their needs and have a fruitful and meaningful mentorship relationship. By pairing professionals with experience and knowledge with young people with the passion to thrive, we are help to create accountable and successful individuals, transform their lives, communities and the country at large. Curriculum Development - CareerAid expertly develops curriculums on life skills and career development programmes for organisations Our materials have been used to empower over 4000 individuals to date, reviewed/modified to make the highest of impact and remain consistent to the current needs of the targeted population. The training materials are informed by national and international parameters and interventions so that we address areas that can make the greatest of impact.
