Career Identity is defined as the values, vision, and mission that make your ideal career. It is what you want to be doing. If more than half of our days are spent working in a position or with a company or under a manager which isn’t aligned with our values, we feel splintered, fatigued, and generally out of sorts. Hearing countless stories of how unhappy people were in their jobs made me wonder why, and I believe it’s because we have not discovered how or believe that we can be who we really are and do what we really want to do at the same time.
