𝗪𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁 — 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲. 𝘈𝘯 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨: We are the orphan youth who grew up in Child Care Institution (orphanages) as 𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱, 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱, 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄, C𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿, 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗛𝗜𝗩. 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 18 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦. 𝗔𝘁 𝟭𝟴, 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗼 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. Every year, thousands of youth leave orphanage without completing their education with no skills, 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗻𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗻𝗼 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. CLiC, founded by the careleavers, for the careleavers. It is on a mission to become a family for every careleaver —to support them in becoming self-reliant and help them reclaim their identity. Because identity is the first right of every individual. CLiC is building a community of 5,00,000 careleavers across India. Run with a startup mindset, CLiC is incubated in multiple innovation programs and collaborates closely with the Ministry of Women & Child Development (Central and State Governments), District Child Protection Units, Child Welfare Committees, and 150+ Child Care Institutions. We are driving a Tech Portal (Generating CLiC ID & CLiC Card vision to give identity to an individual) and a Helpline Number.
